Basically, lie is not a good deed because it can disadvantage many people. After lie to someone, the frightening will appear. There is frightening if someone will know the truth. Lie can not be saved forever. There will be one day when it can be known.
In some situations, we need to lie. For example, to make someone more believe in themselves, we can tell them that they are smart, dilligent, and have good ability so they can leave their ashamed.
In fact, telling the truth is better than lying. We had better tell the truth to everyone although the truth can let them down.
